The Best Cake Smash Ever
I have never photographed a cake smash this good before. I mean, honestly. Even my own kids didn’t go all in like little Sonnie did. I’ve photographed some good ones over the years where the kids go all in and don’t care to get messy and eat tons and tons of cake and get it all over their faces and feet and belly, but Sonnie took it one step further. Sonnie went in straight with her mouth several times to take a bite straight from the cake. It was so impressive. It’s what every parent wants when they choose to do a cake smash with their kids. It’s what they try to coax them into doing after they dive in and really started participating. However, they don’t usually understand or have any interest in actually eating it straight off the cake stand. Not Sonnie. She was all about it. It was adorable.
I can’t believe this little nugget is 1 year old now. She is perfect and beautiful and has the most fun little personality. Every time I see her, she looks more and more like her daddy, but there’s no doubt she is obsessed with her mama. This little family is one of my favorites, and I am so thankful they asked me back into their lives after their wedding day was over to capture their sweet little girl. Happy birthday, Sonnie. You are precious.
