Best of the Best, Portraits edition
This is something I like to do every year. Most of the time I do it within the first week of January, but this year was a bit different. This past fall was the craziest I’ve ever let my schedule get to make up for the quarantined spring, and once I finished my December 19th wedding, I took time off until the first week of January. It was phenomenal, you guys. I know not everyone can do that with their job situation, but it is one thing I am especially grateful for with Amanda May Photos. Hitting it hard when I need to hit it hard, and being able to be flexible when my body needs it to be flexible. Once I came back, I raced to catch up on almost three weeks worth of emails and to dos then racing to get all the workshop things lined up before the 23rd. Holy cow! It’s almost February, and I still haven’t done my Best of the Best posts!
So, here we go.
I’ve had a lot of insanely awesome clients this year. I build into my workflow to choose my favorites to include in this post when I get to the end of editing their session in Lightroom. Sometimes, however, I forget this step or get distracted. So, if you’re not featured here and I did portraits for you this year, it’s 100% not because I didn’t take a favorite in your session. I ALWAYS have a favorite from every single session. It’s more likely because I outsourced a TON of work this year due to the intensity of the second half of the year. Please please please know I love you dearly, and it was completely unintentional! This same things goes for the Best of 2020: Engagements and Best of 2020: Weddings you’re going to see next!
