Seven Islands State Birding Park || Whitney & Jordan Maternity

Seven Islands Maternity in July

I had the privilege of photographing Whitney and Jordan’s wedding back in July 2020. Now, four years later, I am photographing their Seven Islands maternity session, and it was such a sweet time catching up with them. When Whitney reached out about photographing their baby’s first year, I assumed they had moved to Knoxville. They originally got married here because it was a midway point between their two families. Instead of asking if they had moved here, I casually asked, “What part of town are you guys in?” And Whitney said, “Oh, we’re from Richmond,” and I was literally blown away. This sweet couple drove all the way down from Richmond. Then, they will also drive all the way down from Richmond 4 more times for milestone sessions. I am literally speechless. This is the kindest, sweetest compliment. I appreciate the sacrifice that requires so much, I cannot even find the words to say enough thank yous. Their Seven Islands maternity session may have provided them with gorgeous maternity photos, but it also reminded me just how lucky I am to serve the clients I serve. I’ve said it at least 50 times throughout various blog posts, but I think I have the best clients out there. There’s no one that can convince me otherwise!
