An In-Home 6 Month Session
I have had some of the most smiley babies this year. This is something you’ve seen written on many of my baby blog posts recently and holds true for little Jackson during his in-home 6 month session. I’m praying this is God revealing to me that my baby will also be a happy, joyful, smiling baby 🤞 Seriously, from the time I set him on the bed to the time I left, the boy never stopped smiling at me. Any noise I made, any face, any position, any angle, he’d find me and smile. Not to mention he’s the cutest little thing on the planet. His name is Jackson Ledger, and I just adore this whole family. I went to graduate school with Jackson’s dad at UT, and after graduation, he moved back to Cleveland, TN, after he married his beautiful bride, Erin. I have been privileged enough to photograph his proposal, their engagement, their wedding, and their growing family. I’ve watched them build houses from the ground up, make homes, and start careers. I’m telling you they are one amazing family.
On my way down to their house, I listened to the rest of the Chip Gaines audio book No Pain, No Gaines. If you’ve never listened to/read his books, they are worth it. The audio book is especially good because it’s Chip, himself, reading it to you. They are inspiring, and if you are the entrepreneur dreamer type, you’re going to finish each book ready to conquer the world, start 15 new ventures, and make a massive impact for the good in this world. I got out of the car feeling all those feelings as I went in to shoot little Jackson’s 6 month session. Then, I was welcomed with the happiest baby on the planet, a beautiful home to shoot in, and amazing light flooding in the windows. When I got home, I couldn’t stop chatting Dustin’s ear off about all of my dreams for our life 😂
I can’t thank the Stinnett family enough for allowing me to photograph their family! It is such a pleasure, and it truly makes me so happy to see them every 6 months or so!
