Winter Engagement at Melton Hill Park

Lexi and Matt are one of the couples I met at another wedding before they got engaged and loved them even before they became an #AMPcouple. Then, they came to my AMP Social in November with two other AMP couples and were talking about how nervous they were for their little ultra mini session in my front yard because they hadn’t had their official engagement session yet. Well, now they have, and they. killed. it. Both of them are so stinking photogenic. They have the model face, they have the smile, they have the laugh, they have the nuzzle. I mean, there wasn’t a pose that didn’t work with these two, and I knew this already because even at their ultra mini session in my front yard back in November, they slayed it. You know what I loved more than getting their winter engagement at Melton Hill Park done? The amount of time we just got to chat and get to know one another. I got to see Lexi’s mom again and meet Paisley, their adorable, hyper golden retriever. I also learned it was Matt’s birthday in just a few days, and I’m totally honored he spent part of his birthday weekend with me taking photos!

It’s hard to do engagement sessions in the winter at parks. Most of the time, parks look best in warmer, blooming seasons, but a winter engagement session at Melton Hill Park is different because of the water, golden grass, and big stone. Those things are unchanging no matter the season, which means it looks incredible even in the winter. Combined with Matt and Lexi’s outfit colors, it looked so stinking good.

So, here we go, you guys. A little winter engagement inspo here for you on this cold winter day 😀!
