Vanderbilt Engagement Pictures
A Vanderbilt engagement session was a no brainer when we were talking about places to take Casey and Will’s engagement photos. These two met on day 1 of freshman year when Will was assigned to Casey to help her carry boxes up to her first dorm room. See, Vandy has a thing where football players come help the ladies move in. I’m guessing it’s an act of teaching chivalry just as much as it is a pretty valid workout. From that moment on, Will start pursuing Casey, and Casey was completely uninterested. So uninterested in fact, that she had a friend of hers go out with him to get him to leave her alone. But that friend turned into a double agent when Will convinced her to go back to Casey and talk him up to her. Convince Casey to give him a shot. Well, obviously, she gave in, and the rest is history because here we are in front of that same exact dorm room, reenacting their first awkward hug. I’m so thankful that Vandy’s campus is so gorgeous because it really did make for some fabulous engagement photos. Shoutout to the wonderful Erin Turner Photo for letting me crash on her couch while I was in town, as well as point me in the direction of the Wyatt Center because this campus is so big I’m not totally sure I would have found it otherwise. Since graduating from Vandy, Will got drafted to the NFL to play for the Arizona Cardinals, and Casey is by far his number one fan (well other than his momma… and I feel like I have to say that because if and when Grayson ever becomes an athlete, no girlfriend, fiancée, or wife will ever be a bigger fan than me ;-)). Anyways, so we did a Vanderbilt engagement session, then we did classic Nashville and went to the pedestrian bridge and Broadway. I had so much fun walking around with these two lovebirds and am so excited to be sharing their engagement photos with you tonight!
