Third Creek Greenway Engagement Session
We were originally supposed to go to the Foothills Parkway for some pretty mountain backdrops until the forecast called for killer clouds. They sorted through several locations on my blog but just wanted something a little different and unique. Then, Chris…yes, I said Chris…as in the groom…mentioned Third Creek Greenway. It’s where they train for marathons together. I’m sure if they aren’t too winded it’s also where so many of their conversations go down. What else do you have to do when you spend hours jogging together?! With that being said, it was the perfect location. We parked across the street from the Sequoyah Hills entrance and walked about 1/4 mile back to find an intersection of several super photogenic spots. I could tell these two felt right at home, and they were just so easy to photograph. Third Creek Greenway is the greenway connecting downtown to West Knoxville and is nearly 22 miles long! It’s usually smothered in people, but thankfully, we got a calm time with a midweek day and it was perfect! I’m so thankful Chris thought of it and both he and Laura spent time walking it trying to find the best part for us to take their photos. I know I’m going to sound like a broken record, but I just LOVE when couples do unique things like this! Things that are meaningful to them that I would never know about! Also, it is my dream to run a marathon one day, and now, I know a great spot to train 🙂
