This will be yet another blogpost about a wedding that had to massively change because of coronavirus. Sarah and Ryan originally planning their wedding at Shoreline Church and the Lighthouse. As you can see, it was at neither. Instead, it was at The White Rose at Hidden Meadows Farm in Talbott, TN.
After all this hit, Sarah and Ryan rescheduled their reception to September, but they decided to keep their ceremony at Shoreline. Everything was fine and dandy until the rules changed with regards to social gatherings. Churches now have crazy sanitizing rules to abide by after every gatherings, and it literally broke their heart to tell Sarah she couldn’t get married at Shoreline anymore. Not only did Sarah and Ryan meet at Shoreline, but it is also their church home where they have deeply planted their hearts. A location that means more to them than anything else. But here’s how cool God is.
A family friend owns The White Rose and allowed Sarah and Ryan to marry there. It has an insanely epic view of these mountains that are direct evidence of how awesome our God is. Then, so many people from Shoreline surrounded them. Vendors like myself, the coordinator, the musicians, the officiant, some of her bridesmaids, guests. They may not have had their ceremony at Shoreline, but only Jesus could bring Shoreline all the way out to The White Rose to surround them as they promised forever together. And this was in a crowd less than 50. Imagine how many Shoreline reps would have been there if they had gotten to have their normal size reception, too? So stinking cool.
