The Studio at Fountain City Newborn Session
I may not be renting The Studio at Fountain City out to other photographers yet…thanks, covid…but I am using it myself! Mostly just for newborn and boudoir sessions, right now. I’m able to clean everything really well afterwards, and I know and trust the people I’m bringing in. I just love having all of these babies in The Studio at Fountain City though. I love that I can trust the lighting will always be good. The temperature will always be too warm for a normal non-infant human. I will always have pretty backdrops to lay the baby on.
The scary thing about shooting newborn sessions at a family’s home is that unless they’re photography experts, they don’t know what makes a house good for photos, and I never know what I’m walking into. Thankfully, it’s becoming trendier and trendier to have natural light so most houses are fine, but every now and then, it can be challenging. And in comes The Studio at Fountain City, which completely removes any of that stress, and I know exactly what I’m going to have. The only downfall to coming to The Studio at Fountain City is that baby will ALWAYS fall asleep on the car ride over, and sometimes, it is a little harder to get them to pass back out after we start the shoot, which is exactly what happened to KJ. I love it though because I got some shots of his pretty blue eyes open before he totally zonked.
KJ is an AMP baby, which means he was born to an AMP bride and groom. It makes me so happy they came back to me for newborn photos. It is the absolute BEST getting to see these sweet families grow, and I just adore Kevin and Shannan.
