These sisters are so. much. fun. Fraternal twins with two totally different personalities. I’ve been so so lucky to photograph them since they were babies and watching them grow and develop into little girls has been so much fun. I would say it was about two years ago that I was really able to see them take on their separate natures. Mary is the one with a little darker blonde hair and Molly is the one without any front teeth. Mary is a little calmer and always did exactly what I asked her to do as soon as I asked her to do it. Molly is so wild but LOVES being in front of the camera. They both love each other so much, and just make the best models!
I think there’s only been two times that we’ve ever taken pictures not at Tates Elementary. With both parents working there and both girls attending there, it makes it so easy and comfortable to get around. It only helps that it is also a gorgeous campus with so many different backdrops for amazing photos. This time, we spent the first half of the session in the woods, then went to the newer areas that were just recently built. Tates Elementary does such a good job at managing their landscaping and adding things to their school that even though we shoot there every year, the pictures still have something different to offer.
I am so grateful for this family and their sweet friendship. I love these girls so much, and their mom and dad are two of the most amazing people. They’re so genuine and care so deeply… even for their photographer. I couldn’t imagine not getting to see this crew every year!
