Studio 3 Month Session
Elliana was one of the smiliest babies I have ever seen at a studio 3 month session. She was smiling, talking, and tummy-timing like a 6 month old. I told Edie and Josh this, too, but I think she’s going to be sitting up at 4 or 5 months old. Also, she has a thing for orange foxes. Smiles came pretty easily just talking to her, but they also carried around a little rubber orange fox. When they held it in front of her face, completely still, she would get the BIGGEST grin. It was hilarious. I have no clue what was so funny about the orange fox, but it brought some major giggles for Elliana’s studio 3 month session.
Also, when we booked this session, we decided to do a studio 3 month session because it fell at the beginning of December. We just assumed it would be too cold outside…especially for a 3 month old. Turns out, this particular day was one of the prettiest days this fall with 65 degree temps, so we took some pictures inside and some outside to enjoy the warmth. I have to say, the ones on the white bed with the white comforter are my favorites. I took pictures of Grayson in that same spot regularly during his first year, and I just love how clean and crisp it is. I got to see Elliana’s nursery in Chattanooga when I photographed her newborn pictures, and I just know those clean images are going to fit in her very light and bright nursery perfectly! Most of the time when I’m taking images, I know as soon as I click which ones are meant for printing. Not that I don’t love all of my images printed, but there are specific ones that I envision large on a wall. Sometimes in a frame, sometimes as a gallery wrap, sometimes as a lagniappe canvas…and the ones from their session are from the white bed. In a white frame with a white mat on the light colored walls of the nursery. EEK! I love it already.
