Spout Springs Vineyard Family Session
It has been a long time since I got to spend some quality time with these two. Brad and Kari got married at the Smithview Pavilion back in 2015. Their wedding was the first wedding that I ever shot at Smithview, and when I arrived, I was blown away with how pretty it was. The venue hadn’t been open for weddings that long when Kari found it, and the images from their day are still some of my favorites. In fact, one of Kari and her bridesmaids is still on my website because I love it so much! I say all this because Kari has a knack for introducing me to spots I’ve never been, and I consequently fall in love with them. For their family photos this year, we went to Spout Springs Vineyard out in Blaine, TN. It reminded me so much of Arrington Vineyards back in Nashville, which was one of our favorite places when we lived there. I instantly fell in love with it and am dying to take another family there. The rows of grapes are an obvious spot, but Spout Springs Vineyard has this gigantic oak (I think) tree right in the middle of a big grassy field with a wooden swing hanging from one of it’s branches, and it makes for the BEST sunset photos. While we were there shooting, they had a wedding going on, and it just made me so pumped to hopefully book a wedding there in the future.
