Spring and Sterling had a Smoky Mountain wedding at The Trillium Venue this past weekend. It was another day of beautiful weather, and we could see that Smoky Mountain view perfectly. Spring and Sterling met at The University of Tennessee at an engineering party. It didn’t take long for their friendship to turn into romance, and they followed each other to Chicago to pursue their careers. Even though they live in another state now, their hearts still bleed orange as you can see with the groom’s table decor. They also brought orange pompoms to the dance floor, which I loved. If you’re a huge Tennessee fan but can’t figure out a good way to incorporate it into your day, pompoms on the dance floor is literally perfect.
One of my favorite parts about this Smoky Mountain wedding was the bridal party. You can search all of my past wedding posts and see I always reference my favorite part of the day in the blog. You will also see I’ve never listed the bridal party as a highlight. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve worked with some pretty amazing bridal parties, but on Spring and Sterling’s day, their bridal party stood out to me. These people love Spring and Sterling fiercely. Every single one of them. I would not doubt for one second that they would do anything for them. Not only were they loving and loyal, but they were also so much fun. They kept the dance floor going literally all night long. They welcomed me and my second shooter into their fold like we were long time friends. You can tell a lot about people by examining the friends in their life. So, having a group like this speaks volumes about Spring and Sterling.
It was such an honor to be a part of this day. I can’t wait for everyone to see the highlight of the day below!
