Smoky Mountain Engagement Session

When we were choosing a location for Sarah and Chase’s engagement session, Sarah proposed going to Chase’s uncle’s cabin for a Smoky Mountain engagement session. I, being the mountain lover that I am, am ALWAYS down with shooting in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She then proceeds to tell me that we will need to follow one another because it’s so far into the mountains that the GPS doesn’t really work, and there are two gate codes. So, we meet up off Northshore, and I follow them deep into Townsend. We go through one gate and wind back on a curvy road for probably 6 or 7 miles into the mountains. We go up one side, down another, up another, down again, and finally, we land in a valley at the second gate. Judging by the gate alone, I was setting my expectations pretty high. This first picture you see under this paragraph is in front of that gate, and I think we can all agree, it’s pretty fancy. Then, we wound along the driveway, and it was better than ANYTHING I could have imagined. Absolutely stunning. This Smoky Mountain engagement session is one of my favorites because it is so custom to this couple. I will probably never shoot another engagement session there, there is no other location that looks anything like it, and it was so personal being Chase’s uncle’s house. Not to mention, we had one of the days a couple weeks ago that was in the 60s, and the sun was shining. I’m excited to get to share this Smoky Mountain engagement session with you!
