Sevierville, TN Family Session
If you noticed the name of the blog, you probably thought it was really obscure. Sevierville, TN? So the session was in an entire city? Well, not quite. But it was literally on the side of the road on the way back to my parents lake property. We drove and drove and drove… kept climbing the mountain, then all of a sudden this amazing view of the Smoky Mountains. So we pulled off on the side of a tiny back road that has no lines and exactly 8 feet of straight, flat ground and got some yummy views behind this gorgeous family. When Logan (the blonde) reached out to me about doing family photos for this group, I presented about 5 different locations to them that were close to where they were staying. Every single person responded with wanting to bypass all the parks and places with addresses to do my parents lake property and the drive back to it. I was so happy they chose this too because I love doing locations that no other photographers can use! So we met up at the main road and they followed me back in the sticks. Once we made our first pull off, Mom and Dad got out and I realized just how meant to be it was that I was getting to photograph this family on their vacation in the mountains. I told the dad that I had a father-n-law who was 6’8″ and a mother-n-law that was just about the same height as this mom and so I was familiar with posing couples with such a height difference. He looked back at me and said oh yeah? I’m 6’8″! So perfect. I had so much fun spending the morning with this sweet family. They really are as fun as these photos make them out to be!
