Sequoyah Hills Family Session

I recently wrote a blog about how meaningful it is when a photographer chooses you to photograph their kids. It’s the highest form of flattery when it comes to photography. Well, Tristan is also a photographer. She is amazing, and if you haven’t seen her work, you can follow her on instagram under @tristanblairphotography. She has chosen me several times to photograph her and her family, and every single time I am blown away at how beautiful their little family is. Physically beautiful, of course, but what I’m really talking about is their heart. Brandon serves as a pastor at a local church, and you can see the love for Jesus that he and Tristan have instilled in each of their kiddos. They are so kind and so gentle and so loving. Even Southern, the oldest, likes to pretend like he’s not into hugging his brother, but deep down, I know he likes it 😉 ha! I can see it in his smile when his guard is let down for even just a second. And the way that sweet sweet Willow looks up at Tristan in the photo where they are walking hand in hand (which I’m now determined to get a picture identical with Hazel when she gets bigger!) And little Gunner…how he wraps his arms around Brandon’s waste and laughs into his chest. I literally adore this family and their Sequoyah Hills family session. The lighting was just phenomenal. It was totally unintentional, but they also picked one of the most beautiful peaks of color for the season and thankfully had several trees as proof of that for their Sequoyah Hills family session. My favorite being the fire red tree towards the end. Keep an eye out. You literally can’t miss it.
