Rough Hewn Farm Wedding

Many of you know that Dustin is from Somerset, KY. Most of his extended family still lives there, but the others are kind of spread out everywhere. This weekend, however, they all came together at Rough Hewn Farm in Hanson, Kentucky, to watch one of the cousins get married. Almost every single one of them in one place. This is extra special this year because we didn’t get to do our normal Easter where we all gather in one place because of stupid coronavirus. Conveniently, the day after the wedding was our sweet little niece’s second birthday that we also got to celebrate. It was just a very full weekend of love and celebration and beauty.

This wedding is literally the epitome of a backyard, intimate wedding. It is exactly what you think of when you think of a whimsical, outdoor wedding. The colored glass, mismatched flowers, string lights strung up everywhere, farm house tables, and gorgeous property will leave you with hearts in your eyes. Beyond the decor and look of the wedding, were these two. They are SO stinking adorable together. Jordan and Kendall have been together for three years and are the actual cutest. During their first look, which was one of the sweetest in history, Jordan turned around and literally doubled over from the breath being taken out of him. He was in actual awe of how gorgeous Kendall looked and the excitement of this very moment. His jaw dropped, his eyes watered, and he couldn’t stop saying. “Oh my gosh, Kendal, you look SO gorgeous. I cannot believe how gorgeous you look.” It was just the best. It was definitely my favorite moment of the day, and when you see those pictures below, you’ll know why!

Also, Grayson talked about how terribly he wanted to dance and eat cake for days leading up to this wedding so I also got to make those things happen for him, and it made me the happiest. We danced the night away, he got a slice of cake, and we all passed OUT in the hotel room afterwards.

Happy wedding day to these two. I can’t thank you enough for letting me photograph it for you!
