We lucked out for Megan’s Ramble Creek bridal session because we literally got the BEST weather amidst several cold, rainy, cloudy days. It was heavenly. You know what else we lucked out on? Finding out her dress has POCKETS! Isn’t that a pleasant surprise?? Yeah, I think so, too!
One of the reasons I love Ramble Creek so much is their willingness to do whatever their vendors need no questions asked. If you have ever done relationship counseling, you were probably taught the “out serve each other” method. The idea is that through serving your spouse, you make them so happy they turn around and serve you to “repay” you for serving them. Then, you serve them even more to “repay” them for serving you, and so on and so forth. There is only one catch to this…someone has to be the first to serve. Well, at Ramble Creek they are always the first to serve without expecting anything in return. For example, every time I shoot there, if I even lean towards the idea of using their golf cart to get around, they have it there waiting on me, charged and ready to go as soon as I walk out the door. If I even hint at wanting to use the fireplace as a backdrop for portraits, they move anything and everything out of the way to make it the best possible shot. After the ceremony when all the guests are enjoying cocktail hour and we are rolling through family photos, they bring not only the family, bridal party and couple some appetizers and drinks, but also me! When I told them that I had to pump on the wedding day, they remembered and made sure that I had a great, quiet, private place to do so! They are just so awesome, and I’m so thankful for all the photos I get to take there…including this Ramble Creek bridal session!
