One Year Session at The Studio at Fountain City

I have photographed Andersyn since she was in her momma’s belly. I’ve watched this sweet angel baby grow and grow, and now, she is turning one. It is hard to believe. All of her sessions have been adorable, but I think this one takes the cake (pun intended 😉). Since she isn’t getting to have her big first birthday (thanks, covid), Kari and Brad decided to have one of the cutest one year sessions ever. Kari found this hot air balloon setup online somewhere, and the girl happened to have a complete tutorial on how she did it. Then, she hired Wade Floral to come in and decorate it, and oh my goodness, the flowers were stunning. We planned to do this at her house to easily incorporate their pups and their farm. Then, of course, the forecast turned on us, and it was calling for rain all day. So, rather than force it and risk it or reschedule it (because the holidays have us all jam packed), we moved it to my studio, and I have to say I’m loving the result! If this one year session doesn’t leave you wanting to go snuggle a little babe, I don’t know what will!

Oh, and P.S. Andersyn dug into her smash cake all on her own. We were all kind of shocked at how well she did. Even though she could care less about actually eating the cake or the icing, she loved smacking it and getting it all over her hands. It was both adorable and perfect, and I just need to recreate her whole session for Hazel! ha!
