You know, sometimes you meet people that you just click with. You can talk for 2 minutes, and you find at least 15 things you have in common. It happened this week to a couple we showed our house to. No, it’s not back on the market, but they found me through Instagram and asked if they could come see it with all the dirt and mess that hasn’t been cleaned up since we packed everything up. So, we showed them our house, and I’m just so glad about it. The same thing is what happened the first time I met Bre. It’s weird because we talked via email first before actually meeting at their engagement session, and even through email I knew we had the potential to be such great friends. It solidified when I met her in Chattanooga. Instead of being afraid of the rain that completely engulfed Coolidge Park, she embraced it, and we took engagement photos sopping wet. After the rainy engagement session, we did another pretty sunset engagement session, an absolutely stunning wedding at The Standard, an anniversary session at Norris Dam, maternity photos downtown, and now, I am so totally and completely honored that they chose me to take newborn photos of their first little bebe, Sarah Ruth.
Not only did I click with Breana and Matt, but then, I ended up hiring her sister-in-law to be my editor. At this point, they feel more like family than clients, and I can’t even explain to you what an honor it is to be an honorary Price. It’s a good thing they all live in Jacksboro because I’m certain we would get NOTHING productive done if we lived within a couple minutes of each other.
So, here’s to one beautiful family with an amazing house (that’s for sale – shout out to people moving to Jacksboro!) and one GORGEOUS daughter.
