Newborn Photography

About two years ago, I decided I wanted to up my game in the Newborn Photography department. I bought all the things I needed, took class on top of class, volunteered all my friends having babies as my practice models and set out to make it happen. I know, I know, I’m a wedding photographer. I’m suppose to choose… I can’t do both. But here’s the thing. I LOVE my couples. And I don’t want to take their wedding photos and then never see them again. I want to photograph their anniversaries, their house buying, their BABIES!!!! And the only way to do that confidently was to improve my newborn photography skills, because they just weren’t cutting it. This year is really the first year that I’ve gotten to implement those skills regularly, and I am so stoked about it.

This couple though wasn’t a wedding couple. This couple is actually friends that we’ve gained through the renovating of our house and flipping of the extra house next door! Joe, the dad, is a general contractor that literally can do anything. His wife Lori is the absolute sweetest and they have two daughters, Ava & Abby. Ava is completely smitten with Abby and it’s the most adorable thing ever. When you get to the sister pictures below, you’re going to have heart pieces everywhere. Go ahead and prepare yourself now, the cuteness can be overwhelming.
