New Year Wedding at Hunter Valley Farm

Holly and Tim have a very tight circle of friends who are quite literally some of the best people ever. The reason they have some of the best people in their circle is because they are some of the best people. When it comes to being genuine, there is no denying that these two are some of the most sincere people I’ve ever met. There were multiple times during the day that they each had separate conversations with me and thanked me for being there. But it wasn’t just a thank you in passing. It was a heartfelt, thank you so much for doing this for us and being here with us for our New Year wedding. We appreciate you so much kind of thank you. When I talked to other vendors throughout the day, they too were getting deep gratitude from the couple. While Tim and Holly hired us all to be there, they were still so grateful and appreciated us making the commitment and serving them on their wedding day. And it felt so authentic. I love people like this. Showing others how much I appreciate them is a love language of mine. Not just telling them but showing them with my tone, my actions, and my facial expressions. Serving them for their New Year wedding didn’t feel like I was missing out on something else because I was working. It felt like the greatest honor to witness them bringing in the New Year officially married after 13 years of being together. It was precious, exciting, and even made me emotional. Just something about all the couples counting down together and being so loud then growing silent as they all kiss their person and rest in each other’s presence for a few moments of the new year. I haven’t been to a New Year party since we had kids almost 7 years ago. I forgot how magical it is. Now, if only I could score an invite to Tim and Holly’s epic New Year party every year 😜
