A week or so before I photographed the Holden’s Nashville lifestyle session, I chatted with Casey’s brother and his new fiancée about possibly photographing their wedding. When I was on the phone with them, I made the comment about how I wish Casey and Will could adopt me into their family because they are so great. I hadn’t seen them in awhile, but as soon as I arrived at their home, I was immediately reminded just how true that is. They are phenomenal people. They love each other so well and truly know how to find the joy in life. While I know they experience frustrations, they are really great at turning those frustrations into silver linings. Instead finding the joys of the moment instead of focusing on the frustrations!
I’m so thankful to be part of these big milestones in their life. Their newest baby girl is just the cutest little thing ever, and big brother Franklin has transitioned into his role quite nicely! His smile fills up the room. Even though he refused to nap, he still cooperated so well and gave me so many adorable laughs. My favorite though is when he put his t-rex head on and charged his dad. We tried incorporating things that are especially them. Things like reading books together, playing on the couch, flying in the air, tickling, and so much more. I hope I helped preserve this season of life for them in their amazing home.
