One Year Old Session at Melton Hill Park

Cari and Eric are one of those couples that every time I see them, I feel so genuinely connected to them. They are always so supportive of Amanda May Photos and still refer couples my way who are looking for a wedding photographer. They are also so lovely to chat with. I found myself getting so distracted in conversation that our 30 minute session at Melton Hill Park actually lasted closer to an hour because I love talking with them. Also, as I have watched them go from dating to engaged to married to parents to home owners, their approach to life is so beautiful. They recently found themselves in a unique situation when a UT coach bought their home. They didn’t plan to be in that home forever, but they didn’t expect to sell it this quickly. But they sought the Lord’s guidance and felt like selling was the next step for them. As they began searching for homes, they were struggling. Let’s face it. We all know the market we’ve been in since 2020 is a seller market for sure. Finding something worth spending the money on right now is TOUGH. As their closing date approached, they actually had to ask for an extension in their current home because they literally had nowhere to go. Cari shared with me that one day, she was driving through Hardin Valley, and she just felt the Lord tell her to trust Him. She said it was almost audible it was so loud in her brain. Literally the next day, they found the home they live in now in the exact area they wanted to be. Jesus stories are my JAM. I love when people share with me the way the Lord is speaking to them and working in their lives. Hearing and watching Cari tell this story at their Melton Hill Park session literally gave me chills. I’m so thankful for clients who share these stories with me. I will ALWAYS have time to hear your Jesus story!
