Melton Hill Engagement Session
I have shot a few Melton Hill engagement sessions over the last couple years. There are so many amazing spots down by the water that I haven’t had a reason to venture out too far from the lower parking lot. As I approached Sarah and Ryan’s Melton Hill engagement session, however, I decided I wanted to approach it from a fresh eye. I wanted to see it for the first time and shoot it differently than I normally do. This is one of the things that makes a photographer a great photographer in my opinion. As I edited these photos, I can proudly say I totally conquered this goal. Plus, I had great models while doing so.
I love when my couples are naturally giggly. I give prompts to help couples laugh more genuinely, but I also love it when they just start busting out in laughter over my corny jokes I make behind the camera. Sarah and Ryan had the best attitudes and laughter throughout their entire engagement session. I caught myself saying, “You guys are just so cute,” over and over again. Similarly to when I catch myself saying, “Perfect. Okay, now that’s perfect…perfect!” Hahaha but, you guys, my couples really are the perfect models, and I get so excited that I verbalize it in the same way over and over again before I catch myself and force myself to use a different adjective ha! But anywho, as you scroll through this Melton Hill engagement session, you’re going to see why I use that word so much because geez…they were just perfect :-).
