Meads Quarry Engagement Session

Caity and Kaleb are getting married at Castleton Farms in February 2020, and we took their engagement pictures at Meads Quarry. I offer complimentary engagement sessions to all my wedding couples because I get to learn so much about them during our time together. My favorite story from Caity and Kaleb’s session was about how they ended up dating. They went to Grace Christian Academy together, but they didn’t go on their first date until college. They were friends in high school, but when they left for college, Kaleb kept in touch with Caity’s dad not Caity. He said they would talk about once a month on the phone. Kaleb and Caity went to different colleges but ended up at the same place at the same time twice one summer in Johnson City. After those encounters, Kaleb decided to send Caity a Facebook message. They both laughed when they told me Kaleb Facebook messaged Caity. Little did they know that Facebook messaging was also how Dustin and I started our first few conversations. Anyways, it took Caity 11 days to respond to Kaleb, which is a fact Kaleb will never let Caity forget, but once she did get back to him, the rest is history.

These two are amazingly cute together, and it was super impressive how Caity owned her cute heals walking on the rocks at Meads Quarry. Kaleb didn’t leave her side the whole time so he could catch her if she stood on an awkward rock and stumbled. She didn’t need him to catch her too much, but I could tell by the way he was there just in case that he is head over heels for sweet, tiny Caity. Plus, the way Caity loved him right by her side showed me how much she loves him. At the end, when her feet couldn’t take it anymore, he swooped her off the ground and carried her to the car. So romantic! It’s the very last shot in this blog post! I am so ecstatic for their wedding, and I know that they are going to make one gorgeous bride and groom.
