McGhee Tyson Airport Engagement Photos
Every single 8+ hour wedding package with Amanda May Photos includes a complimentary engagement session. I do this for multiple reasons, but mostly because I want to get the couple in front of my camera before the wedding day. As soon as they book, I send them an engagement session questionnaire. I encourage them to think about things that define them as a couple when they are picking their location. On an average date night, what would they find themselves doing? In Megan and Michael’s case, they would find themselves at the airport going to visit one another. For a large part of their relationship, they did long distance, and Megan would fly back and forth between Knoxville and New York quite often. Now that they are both in Knoxville, they still fly to New York very regularly for their jobs. So, they took a shot and asked if they could do a McGhee Tyson Airport engagement session, and it worked!
Shooting in new places inspires me. Even though I have shot inside the airport before, it wasn’t a McGhee Tyson Airport engagement session. It was actually Grayson’s 7 month photos as we waited to board our plane to the Grand Tetons. There are very few places left in Knoxville that I haven’t shot at this point, so I was really stoked when they told me this was going to be their first location for their engagement photos. Not only did they pick an AMAZING location that was personal to them, but they also came equipped with an adorable vintage suitcase, world map, and cute little travel hat. I am so in love with their photos and hope you find them fun to look through, too!
