Maryville, TN || Loudon Lake || Colton McConnell

Colton McConnell lives in Maryville, TN and goes to Christian Academy of Knoxville. He’s going to be moving to Nashville to attend Lipscomb University with his sister next fall and plans on studying business with a minor in fashion. You can tell with just one glance at his pictures why he’s choosing that route. Not only does the boy have impeccable style, but (as I kept telling him throughout the session) he could model his own clothes. Each time that he changed his outfit or switched a hoodie, there would be a story behind that piece of clothing. Whether it was from Italy or JCrew, you could tell that he really appreciated each and every item. Then on top of that, his clothes coordinated with the locations that he chose so perfectly. I don’t know if that was on purpose or not, but the blue and green plaid in front of the J&K Super Stores painted wall was amazing. Fast forward to the end of the session and his dusty green tee fell in beautifully with the gravel walkway, brown trees, and dead leaves on the ground. Maybe that’s just my  photographer heart going crazy, but now that I’ve pointed out, you’ll notice.

It was so much fun getting to work with Colton for his senior pictures. I can’t wait to see how he loves college world!
