This engagement session has two important things I want to talk about today. First, the weather. It was a gorgeous day on the day of Emily and Eric’s engagement session. They hired my associate team so Andrea with AC Goodman Photography planned to meet them for their engagement session at Marblegate Farm. It was clear skies and sunny the whole drive out there. Not a single chance of rain. Literally out of nowhere, right when they began their session, a monsoon opened up on them. No one saw it coming. They ran for cover under the boathouse deck to wait it out. While it was just a random summer pop-up storm, it stuck around for a good 30 minutes. They took a few photos under the deck, but of course, there’s only so much you can do in that tiny spot. They took a couple photos with a clear umbrella as well, but again, only so much you can do holding an umbrella. Ultimately, they just waited it out, and just before they were about to call it quits and reschedule, it stopped. They ended up having one BEAUTIFUL Marblegate Farm sunset.
The other thing I want to talk about is Emily and Eric’s dogs. Thank goodness, Andrea is MORE than a dog person, and Marblegate also loves dogs because these cuties dominated the session. They ran around, played, raced, and just lived their best lives. There is so much candid goodness here, and I just love how Emily and Eric incorporated their dogs and their bare feet at the beginning of their Marblegate Farm engagement session.
