As many of you know, Marblegate Farm has a really sweet spot in my heart because I love it so much. It’s one of those venues I will NEVER get tired of shooting at. So, when Cheryl asked if I could come take some Marblegate family photos of her and her extended family, I was so excited. When I say extended family, I mean Cheryl’s parents, their three children with their spouses, and their 7 grandchildren. It was a pretty big group. Sometimes, big family groups are a little boring from the photography standpoint. There are so many people you mostly only have time to catch traditional, looking-at-the-camera-smiling type photos that don’t spark much creativity. That is so not the case for the Cobble family. From the very beginning of their Marblegate family session, I could feel how much they love one another. We started with the whole group standing, but as we started breaking it down into smaller family units, the comments happening over my shoulder were literally my favorite. It was absolutely hilarious and made the group in front of the camera smile so naturally and laugh so well. Because of this, we cranked through all the necessary “static” posing quickly and got some really fun candids I just adore! This family is an absolute blast, and after meeting everyone and getting to know everyone better, I totally understand why Marblegate Farm is such an awesome Knoxville Wedding Venue!
