A Maple Grove Winter Engagement Session
When you think of a winter engagement session, you might imagine cozy sweaters and snowflakes falling gently. You may even think about cuddling up close to keep each other warm. I don’t think any amount of cuddling could have kept Emma and Thomas warm during their Maple Grove winter engagement session though. Let me tell you, it was COLD. We originally planned for an outdoor only session. When the temperature dropped to downright frosty levels, however, we made a last minute pivot. Thankfully, Maple Grove Estate came through in the most amazing way by offering us both indoor and outdoor options. Their warmth (both literally and figuratively) was a lifesaver, and it gave us the perfect blend of cozy indoor shots and magical wintery outdoor moments.
Emma and Thomas are one of those couples who just light up a room. Seriously, their smiles are so infectious that it’s impossible not to grin while watching them together. Whether they were snuggling up indoors or braving the cold outside, they brought so much natural joy and love to every frame. I barely had to direct them because everything they did—every laugh, every glance, every moment—felt so authentic. It’s clear they make each other so incredibly happy and capturing that happiness was such a privilege.
Their Maple Grove winter engagement session ended up being the perfect mix of charm and spontaneity, and I’m so grateful to Maple Grove Estate for accommodating us on such short notice. I can’t wait to see these two tie the knot next January at the Knoxville Museum of Art. If this session was any indication, their wedding day is going to be an absolute dream. And hopefully, a little warmer!
