Senior Photos in Loudon, TN

Can you believe I’ve been photographing this child since he was a toddler? I literally cannot believe it! It is so wild to me. While it should make me feel old, I’d rather talk about how beautifully loyal the Bullard family is. It is seriously an honor to have captured their lives over these past 12 years! They have so many blog posts written about them on here. I’m certain most of them talk about how loyal and supportive they are of Amanda May Photos. Instead of reiterating what’s already been said, let me give a giant shoutout to Layton. He is SIXTEEN, you guys! He is graduating high school at SIXTEEN! He’s starting college at 17! And he is so smart that he not only got letters for local colleges, but he got letter upon letter upon letter from bunches and bunches of colleges. Jen and Rick actually saved all of these for us to use in his Loudon senior photos, and it’s one of my favorite shots from our session. It’s the one where he’s laying his head in a bunch of mail, and you’ll see for yourself, it’s insane how many colleges wanted him to apply to their school. All of these started swarming in when he got an extremely great score on his ACT. I’m just blown away at how intelligent this guy is right here. I cannot imagine how proud Jen and Rick are of him. I have always admired this family and how they embrace each of their personalities so beautifully. Instead of trying to shift who they are to fit into a job or a role, they shift the job or the role to fit into who they are as people. It’s something I pray I do for my own children. To see their strengths and passions and make changes in our lives to fit those strengths and passions rather than trying to force them into a hobby they really have no desire for.

Before I leave you to scroll through this Loudon senior session, I must also mention how musically gifted Layton is. He learned to play the piano by ear, and he taught himself. But that’s not where his music talent stopped. He can practically play any instrument he picks up. It’s truly amazing. When I asked him how he wanted to use his musical skills, he said playing in a rock band would be his dream. I have no doubt he could make that happen if he wants to.
