Lifestyle Newborn Session
Okay… I LOVE this little girl’s name. I love how they spelled it, I love that it’s for a girl, I love that it’s a last name made to a first name, and I love that she can go by Andi. Andersyn is the daughter of Kari & Brad self. I photographed their wedding a few years ago and they since have gotten two indoor dogs, a house, several outdoor dogs, goats, maybe chickens??, and now welcomed their first baby girl into the world. We did a lifestyle newborn session at their house, which is ADORABLE and AMAZING by the way. If you don’t remember their maternity session, it was also at their house but it was outside. So now you get to see the inside.
The thing that I love most about these two is their realness and genuineness. What I mean by this is that while I was shooting Andersyn’s lifestyle newborn session, they were just being normal. Kari was pumping, Brad was playing video games, they were discussing what it would look like to take Andersyn on her first walk in her stroller outside in January because it was 70 degrees on this day (an all time record high mind you)! They talked to me about parenthood, about my business, about church, about food… I just love being in someone’s home and them making me feel like I am a friend who has come over dozens of times and that it’s totally normal to move their entire house around for some lifestyle newborn pictures of their precious baby girl. Oh and periodically come over and get all googly eyed over the way I’ve got their baby girl set up for photos in the moment and I get this little rush of excitement that they love it as much as I love it and I just can’t wait to show them the finished product. So here we are. The finished product (or at least a portion of the finished product) and I am so thrilled to be sharing them!
