Sunny Winter Hunter Valley Engagement Session
I have literally been blessed with the most perfect weather for my winter sessions this year. The first one back was Marissa and Wayne’s engagement session at World’s Fair Site where we had 55 degree temps and sunshine the whole time. Then, at Eliza and Chase’s Hunter Valley engagement, the weather was similar! Both sessions happening in February. Tell me how this is even possible?!?! Still in awe as I sort through these and can feel the warmth of the sun through each photo.
I had such a fun time with Eliza and Chase. Their story is so unique and so perfectly them. I learned that Chase is a huge car guy and loves to be goofy so he can make Eliza laugh. I learned that Eliza has one gorgeous smile and loves being playful with Chase. At the beginning of their session, we did a few photos with Eliza’s daughter before transitioning to just couple’s portraits. Her Nani was there to take her home, and when she asked how long it would be before mommy was there to pick her up, Eliza looked at me with a question mark on her face. My initial response was probably an hour. Then, I thought…well…what if they want to go grab a drink or dinner after their session before getting Annie? So, I said about 2 hours. You should have seen Chase’s face. After Annie was tucked away in the car, I quickly added that I was leaving a buffer for them to do something fun before going to get her, and the relief was written all over his face. Eliza and I were both laughing. I mean, the sun would set before the 2 hour mark so we would have to be done before then anyway ha!
