Brittany and Chase are a past wedding couple of mine. You are going to see me say that a lot because I am officially not accepting new portrait clients unless they were an #AMPcouple or are related to an #AMPcouple. The AMP wedding family has grown so much that there is no more capacity in this season of life for new portraits. I will be offering associate photographer portrait sessions with me, but that’s it! This is both sad and exciting for me. I thoroughly enjoy documenting families. I absolutely love getting to know new kiddos and watching them grow. In the future, there will be a time I can start doing this again, but right now, I am creating a boundary for the sake of my current clients. I want to serve you well. I want you to walk away from every interaction with me with your expectations exceeded. I never want you to feel rushed or like I don’t care because I do care. I do right down to the deepest part of me, and in order to do this well, I realized I needed a boundary. My word in 2020 is “slow,” and this is one of the steps I’m taking to make that happen.
Now, back to the session at hand! Why do I always get carried away on tangents? Brittany and Chase are amazing. I love them. They live on this hill with an EPIC view and have a BEAUTIFUL home. Brittany has her own Instagram for home decor at @brittanyshomesweethome, and I’ve followed it since she created it. Fast forward to her parents gifting her and Chase a portrait session for their first anniversary, and when Brittany said she wanted to do an in-home lifestyle session, I was secretly having a party in my head. YES YES YES YES YES!!!! PLEEEAAASE! And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It’s just as beautiful, if not more beautiful, in person as it is on her Instagram. Did you know this girl isn’t even in the creative industry? She is a speech and language pathologist, and she’s SO good at it. So, you should go follow her and look for all her home decor because you will be drooling and inspired…I promise. Here’s a little glimpse of her skills from their in-home lifestyle session below:
