One thing that I think is a little unique about my AMP bridal sessions is that I love to photograph all the bridal details at them. I always always always photograph these exact same details on the morning of the wedding, but sometimes the light isn’t as pretty, something is forgotten, or we are feeling particularly rushed for some reason. So, there are always images that we can fall back on from the bridal session. None of those things were the case for Kayla and Micah’s wedding day. Everything was gorgeous and perfect. Instead of photographing the details in the same exact way on the wedding day, I shot them against a blue bridesmaid’s dress. You’ll see below that at the bridal session, I did them very light and bright, but on Kayla & Micah’s wedding day, there was a blue background to incorporate more of their wedding colors. Now, when Kayla and Micah order their wedding album, we will have a couple of different options as to what they can use for their detail shots! Probably a combination of both is going to be the winner. I’m already envisioning it in my head! Anyway, I’m sure you’ve noticed that this is like the 4th or 5th Historic Westwood bridal session I’ve shot. I love this venue so much. I really tried to get my little sister to get married here, but she decided to elope in the snowy mountains of Colorado, which I’m TOTALLY okay with (insert heart eyes). Now get your heart eyes out because you’re going to love scrolling through this bridal session.
