Highlight Studio Maternity with a Big Sister

When Jessica and Patrick were pregnant with sweet big sister Ava, they didn’t find out the gender. I don’t know how in the world they held out with their first baby. Now, they are expecting Baby Brown #2 and are again not finding out the gender. They are currently collecting wagers on what gender people think it is. Before you make your guesses though, check out their sweet little Highlight Studio maternity session. It had been months since I photographed a client in Highlight Studio, and funny enough, I was actually there twice this same week. I love this space, especially in the winter when the weather is so unpredictable. The best benefit to shooting indoors is you don’t have to plan around lighting nearly as strategically. While it is nice to have more light flooding into the indoor space, that gap of time is WAY bigger than the 2 hours before sunset or after sunrise.

I cannot get over how quickly time has passed since Ava’s maternity photos and 1 year photos. She is cute as a button, and I can already tell she’s going to make the best big sister. She is so joyful and playful, and her smile brightens up the whole room. It’s going to be so sweet watching her in her big sister roll at the Brown family’s next session!
