A Black and White Highlight Studio Couple Session
It’s not often anymore that I work with new clients. Most of the time, my books fill up with returning clients first. But our schedules aligned perfectly when Laura reached out to me about doing a Highlight Studio couple session with her and her husband. When they arrived, they immediately confessed how nervous and awkward they are. They led me to believe they would need SO much help during this session because they just knew they would be terrible models. I hear a version of this same exact statement almost every single time I work with a new client. And you know what? Every single time, the client is so much better at this whole picture thing than they gave themselves credit for. Almost every time, they tell me at the end of their session how much easier it was than they anticipated. I coach and pose them the same, no matter their experience level, but what I often find is that people are actually quite good at it. This was especially true with Laura and Zack. They totally killed this Highlight Studio couple session. I have so many favorites from in their gallery. I don’t work a ton with black and white outfits, but I am so here for it. Especially with some of those dramatic lighting situations. So so good. I think a session like this would also make for amazing engagement photos in case anyone reading this wants to do something a little less traditional!
