Heartland Meadows Wedding

This is the first time I’ve shot a Heartland Meadows wedding, and it was beautiful. There was no better couple to introduce me to this venue than Lauryn and Dakota. This day was such a long time coming. Lauryn and Dakota booked with me 1.5 years in advance. Since then, I have witnessed them hustling on the side so they could have their dream wedding, and I really think they did. Not even the tornado level winds could stop these two from living on cloud 9 every single second of this day. As it should be, but I have to say, that isn’t always the case.

One of my favorite parts of Lauryn and Dakota’s day was witnessing the closeness of Lauryn and her sister, Morgan, as well as Dakota and his brother, Dusty. I guess I’m becoming keenly aware of sibling bonds at weddings now that I have three kids and hope and pray they grow up to be the best of friends. You’ll see throughout the pictures below just how close these two were with their respective sibling. Right down to a dance Lauryn surprised Morgan with after the parent dances. Morgan was literally wiping away tears on their walk up to the dance floor. It was precious.

Another really fun thing at this Heartland Meadows wedding was the fact that I had two other couples in attendance that are AMP couples. I was reminded what a fail I had though when one of them texted me and said, “Why didn’t we get a picture of all of us together???” Literally, why did I not think to do that???? But I didn’t, and now, the day has passed. Regardless, it was so fun getting to hang with some of my past clients and catch up on their lives!
