Generational Session at The Studio at Fountain City

I shot Millie Mae’s newborn session back in August. Her mom, dad, and grandmother were there to watch/help with that session, and at the end of it, Risa (grandmother) wanted to get on my books for a generational picture that would include Millie Mae, Lexie, and Risa. This is the first time I’ve done a whole session dedicated to three generations of women together, and I have to say it was so much fun. Watching these women interact with this tiny baby and the love between all three of them was magical. They are all so so so beautiful, and to capture Risa’s amazing legacy right there next to her is something I’m sure they will cherish for a lifetime!

Millie Mae, of course, did amazing. Lexie is also a photographer, and Millie Mae is all too familiar with having her photo taken. At the end, we finished with a few shots on the bed, and there is one I put into my favorites folder where Millie Mae is rolled onto her side, holding her foot, and making the funniest face at the camera.
