A Fresh 48 and Newborn session
This blog post is going to be a little bit unique in that I combined two different sessions into one post because they happened so close together. Baby Kai was born the Friday before last. He was welcomed into the world by his parents and three sisters with a head full of hair and the sweetest temperament. I got to meet him in the hospital for some Fresh 48 photos at UT Medical Center. Just a few short days later, I returned to his home to take some newborn photos and this week I get to return again for some family photos. I’m thankful that Morgan does so many photos of all her babes in the first couple weeks of their life because they really are changing daily. It’s crazy but it’s true. So probably next week, you’re going to see another baby Kairyn post come across here because I just can’t help but blog every session that I shoot… especially when they have sweet, tiny little babes in them!
I am literally blown away at how baby Kai’s sisters have taken to him so quickly. When I walked into their house for the newborn session, Elliana, his oldest sister, was sitting on the couch with a paci in his mouth petting his hair. Any time the paci fell out, he would start crying and immediately Elliana would shush him, put the paci back in and calm him down completely. I go to look at all the cute props Morgan has and the next thing I knew, I turned around and Elliana is just cradling him in her arms. She’s rocking him back and forth, looking down at him while he sucks his paci and is sleeping safely in her arms. It was seriously the sweetest moment and I literally had to pick my jaw back off the floor because I was just so impressed with her.
It wasn’t just Elliana though. All three of these girls LOVE their little brother. I have no doubt that you will see the evidence of this below!
