You’ve seen the Cole family on my blog before. I’m pretty certain I talked about this then as well, but it’s been a whole year so I want to give you a refresher. Ann is the cousin to one of my past AMP brides. We met because she was a bridesmaid in that wedding. We had both just had our baby boys and were pumping at said wedding and used the same equipment to pump. We both stored our milk in the fridge at this venue and ended up switching milk accidentally at the end of the night. That instantly made us pumping sisters, and we have been friends ever since.
We both love jogging and bonded over that as we met up a couple times for baby walks with our boys. Fast forward down the road a bit and Ann and her husband moved to Halls (we live in Fountain City). Then, we both enrolled our baby boys at the same church for childcare. Then, we had baby girls 6 months apart from one another. I think the universe is trying to tell us something 😂!
Now, not only have I gotten to take Mabry’s newborn photos, but I’ve also gotten to take her one year old photos. I cannot believe that a whole year has passed!
Ann’s parents have been building a farmhouse for a bit now. They were supposed to have it done a couple months ago, but shipping delays with COVID are proving to be so unpredictable. Rather than trying to force this session to be “spring looking” with the absolute bitter coldness surrounding us outside this week, we decided to just go ahead with doing a farmhouse one year session before the house is officially “done.” I’m so glad we did because it turned out gorgeous. Also, not so secretly swooning over this beautiful home. It may have been an hour from the interstate in the direction of middle of nowhere, but that drive is worth it for this home + this view (and this was a cloudy day).
