I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but we have not had much rain in the last month or so. When there’s not a lot of rain leading up to fall, the leaves tend to not be as vibrant and sometimes start falling before they even change colors. I’m afraid that might be what is going to happen this year. While this is true for most of Knoxville, those with irrigation systems probably won’t see this issue as much, which is what rang true for this fall Castleton Farms engagement. Castleton has an irrigation system that keeps their lawn and flowerbeds looking SO good. This also means their trees are watered even when the rest of Knoxville is the crunchy-grass-kind-of-dry. Well, they’ve already had one tree turn a vibrant red so we used it during Kailey and Michael’s fall Castleton Farms engagement session, and it was so pretty. It’s even redder in photos than it was in person! EEK!! Just scroll to the third outfit and check it out. It’s definitely worth looking at.
As for the rest of us out here trying to get fall photos taken with those fall colored trees…cross our fingers and pray some of the color comes before all the leaves dry out and fall off! I’m not ready for bare trees again; especially not while it’s still warm outside!
