Downtown Knoxville Winter Engagement

Kristin and Bryce are getting married at Castleton Farms. Most of my Castleton couples have their engagement photos at Castleton, but for Kristin and Bryce, they decided to do a Downtown Knoxville winter engagement session. I’m so glad they did because Kristin’s dresses were PERFECT for the downtown vibe. She texted me a few days before their session, and said, “I have one casual dress and one dressier dress.” When I saw each outfit, however, they were both so dressy and fancy and looked so good in the settings we were shooting. Also, believe it or not, the temperature was in the 30s for this Downtown Knoxville winter engagement. I had on a thermal, a sweater, and a big jacket with gloves, but I was still cold. Kristin is my hero for freezing her booty off so she could show off her dresses. I truly don’t know how she did it, but she did while looking gorgeous. Even though I know she was freezing, she somehow thought warm thoughts and let her body relax because she doesn’t even look tense! I have to give a shout out to Bryce, too, though. Because while he was in a suit, he also took his jacket off and sacrificed any warmth he had as well.

I had so much fun with this couple. I have photographed a lot of Kristin’s family, and I love them all so much. One of the most thoughtful families I’ve ever had as clients. I’m so thankful for them and for Kristin with trusting me with her and Bryce’s Castleton Farms wedding!
