Downtown Knoxville Engagement Session

Before Kaylyn and Nick’s engagement session, Kaylyn sent me some inspo pics she loved from other downtown engagement photos she’d seen on Pinterest. All of them had more white, creamy buildings in the background in comparison to the red/orange brick that is typical for downtown photos. So, my goal with Kaylyn and Nick’s Downtown Knoxville engagement session was to find more of that light colored backdrop vs. the dark, rich tones of brick. I’m not going to lie, I think we did it even though there are not as many of those buildings in Downtown Knoxville. We ended up using 3-4 different backdrops, and it worked out so well!

I did not know this about Kaylyn and Nick before their Downtown Knoxville engagement session, but they are campers. They have their own camper, and they travel around East Tennessee finding the best campgrounds. We figured this out right at the beginning of their session when Nick had to take a quick emergency camper call from one of his friends. We immediately hit it off talking about all things camping since we, too, just bought our first camper. Since their session, we have shared texts about campgrounds, and I’m just waiting for the first time we find ourselves camping the same weekend at the same place.
