Downtown Engagement Session

So, this couple has one really awesome story behind how they met. Besides the fact that they are both engineers (which, ironically enough, I have a ton of engineers as my couples), they both did a study abroad in Prague. I don’t think there’s any better way to fall in love than to do it while you’re adventuring around Europe together! Fast forward to November of 2018, and Duncan took Sarah to Ijams Nature Center to ask her to be his wife. Sarah helped Duncan pick out her ring, and I have to say…it is STUNNING. It’s a baby blue center stone surrounded by a rose gold setting, and it photographs beautifully. I can’t wait for you to get down to that section of their downtown engagement photos.

I love shooting downtown partly because I love all the straight edges and leading lines, but also because I LOVE Downtown Knoxville. It’s honestly one of the reasons why I love Knoxville so much. There is always something going on, plenty to do, yummy food, and even on days that the sun can’t make up its mind, it still makes for the perfect backdrop for a downtown engagement session. Bring on September so this sweet couple can say their vows at the beautifully renovated Hunter Valley Farm!
