Castleton Farms Vineyard Wedding

If there’s one thing to know about Brittany, it’s that she loves photos. When I say she loves photos, I mean more than the average girl, and the real bonus here is she married a man that also loves photos. This combination meant so much portrait time on their Castleton Farms vineyard wedding day. They did a first touch, a first look, an hour of portraits before the ceremony, just married portraits right after the ceremony, sunset photos right after their first dance, and a few night shots under the bistro lights. More than how much they love photos, I really want to talk about how much they love one another.

That’s a weird statement to make about two people who just got married. I know what you’re thinking, “Of course they love each other. They just got married.” But hear me out. Their love goes so much further than just the love they have for one another. They first love Christ. They pour a lot into that love individually, and therefore, they have a very Christ-like love for one another. Something we are called to as believers is to imitate to our spouse how Jesus loves the church, and I have to say, Brittany and Michael do this beautifully.

I wasn’t the only one that noticed this either. At the beginning of the day, one of the bridesmaids said this to me. As the day went on, I realized how deeply Michael and Brittany love everyone in their lives, especially each other. Then again, in the afternoon, one of their parents pulled me aside and mentioned how sweet their love is. And at the end of the night, a guest and I were chatting, and she said the same exact thing. Three separate people at three separate times, and I knew it was something I should share about on here. These two are shining a light so much further than they even realize just by loving each other.

Happy marriages are possible, you guys. There was a time when I was young that I did not know that to be true, and it’s one of my absolute passions behind becoming a wedding photographer. Now I know it to be true, and I want my couples to know it’s true. I just really love LOVE and celebrating that love with you!
