Calhoun’s on the River Wedding

This couple has a more unique story than most of my couples that I get to work with. See, Bri moved to California for her job for what she thought was going to be 6 months, or maybe 6 weeks, I can’t remember, but she ended up staying because she fell in love with the area. She met Art through a local church event, and they started dating. Fast forward, and now, they are married. Well, here’s the unique part. They got married in California a month before they came to Knoxville. Brianne’s immediate family was able to make it, but her extended family couldn’t be there. I mean, it is only ALL the way across the country. So, instead of making them totally miss out, Bri and Art decided to come to Knoxville and do a vow renewal for Bri’s Knoxville friends and family. They had a Calhoun’s on the River wedding that was gorgeous and a perfect celebration for all the Knoxvillians to join in. One really neat thing they did for their Calhoun’s on the River wedding was print out some of their photos from their California wedding and have it as part of the centerpieces on the tables. I went through and photographed most of the table centerpieces, so I got to look at all the different photos, and it was so fun to see how the two days differed! Another thing that I really loved was how Bri changed dresses right after the ceremony. None of her guests knew she was going to do that, and she came back in a STUNNING red dress with red heels and a red rose in her hair. Of course I had to get some photos of them in the different outfit, too, so we took advantage of the sunset lighting and the Henley Street Bridge in the background. Take a look and see what you think about this Calhoun’s on the River wedding! It was a fabulous re-celebration! Let’s see what they come up with next month…I heard from the crowd they were going to have a 3rd in New Jersey for Art’s New Jersey family. Ha! I kid I kid…but it’s a good joke.
