Cades Cove Wedding and AMP Associate Photographer
Ashley and Kyle eloped in Cades Cove on September 28th. I already had a wedding that day so my associate photographer, Brittany, photographed this one for me! This is something new I started offering this year, and I have to say I love it. Here’s the thing with my associate photographers…they aren’t just random photographers I pulled off the street. These two ladies, Brittany and Leah, run their own full time wedding businesses and shoot for me when it lines up conveniently with their own full time schedules, which typically does not happen in peak months since we are all three so busy. In addition to having their own full time photography businesses, they also have second shot for me for the last 3 years. This means we have worked together so much that, at this point, they know me and how I like to run my wedding days. They see how I handle high stress situations. They watch me interact with large and loud bridal parties. They witness the micro-organization of my timeline and family formal shot list. They feel the love I have for my couples and other vendors. They. Know. Me. And because they know me, I fully trust them to serve my couples just like I would serve them. To go above and beyond on a wedding day to make sure the bride and groom are well taken care of. To always have a smile on their faces shining the light of Jesus no matter what is happening around them. I. Trust. Them. And when you hire an Amanda May Photos associate photographer, you still get the same experience. You get the highly organized business owner that responds to emails promptly and wishes you a happy 1 year anniversary. You get the cute little packaging and small gifts throughout your wedding planning days. You get the quick turn around with your wedding blogged 5-10 days later and your full gallery delivered 4-6 weeks later. You get my editing and all my love even though I am unavailable on your wedding date!
In the coming years as Brittany, Leah, and I continue to grow our businesses, I will be looking for more associate photographers to come along side me to serve couples in a beautiful way. To become an AMP associate, there are lots of things to learn so you can implement a wedding day just like I implement a wedding day, and there’s nothing that can teach you better than second shooting for me over and over and over. My 2020 second shooter dates are still open but will start filling up as soon as this fall busy season slows down. So, do not hesitate if this is something you’re interested in!
