A Bright Newborn Session

If you’re thinking I’ve shot a lot of newborn sessions recently, you’re right. I don’t know if my pregnancy is attracting all the other pregnant mamas, or if I’m hitting a spot where couples from 2-3 years ago are all getting pregnant. Recently though, it’s been baby after baby after baby. Almost all boys, too, which is fun because I sure do love a sweet baby boy.

Jackson is the son of Danielle and Matt. I shot their wedding at Hunter Valley Farm a couple of years ago, and it was beautiful (click here if you want to see it). I made mini books of their wedding actually and still use those to pass out at open house events and such. We initially planned to go to the McIntyre house for Jackson’s bright newborn photos, but after Danielle saw a few sessions from my studio and found herself desperately needing to get out of the house, they decided to switch it to The Studio at Fountain City. This is their first little one, and I was amazed at how well Danielle was already getting around. Jackson was 1 week old at his newborn session, and Danielle had already started going on walks with him that week. Every female is different, of course, and every baby is different. If you’re able, however, it’s a great way to get refreshed. It did help that she had him during a week of brilliant fall weather, and all anyone wants to do is be outside!

So, here we go. Little Jackson’s bright newborn photos in the studio!
